Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland
Gros Morne National Park is in northwestern Newfoundland.  It is full of these flat-topped mountains that are very old remnants of the Appalachians and are worn down heavily by glaciers.  Gros Morne is also where scientists verified theories of continental drift.  This park is full of mountains, forests, coastline and several fjords, in which you may take a boat cruise (see the next picture of Western Brook Pond).  This is also where the first hard evidence of continental drift was discovered, thus providing a lynch-pin in our understanding of planetary development.
