Christians Kirke
Elsewhere on Christianshavn is Christians Church, built in 1759. At least this church was open. Or rather was supposed to be. But to complete my cycle of frustration, it was "closed for renovation." However, I cheated and sneaked in and caught a quick glimpse of the sanctuary. Despite some plastic hanging here and there, it was beautiful, and tall. Balconies high up made for a grandiose feel.
