Tallinn, Estonia is an 800 year-old city. The old city center is very medieval and very beautiful. It's about a 90 minute ferry ride from Helsinki, if you catch the fast boat. The walls you see in front of you are part of the old city walls, included in the Castles & Fortresses ring because they effectively protected the city, at least for a while.
