Zugspitze, Germany
The Zugspitze is the highest point in Germany (barely).
It sits on the Austrian border, and they even have a border crossing guard
at the summit. I was actually standing on the Austrian side when
I took this picture, but I ascended and descended on the German side.
You are looking out over Garmish-Partenkirchen, site of the 1936 Olympics.
The Zupspitze is 2967m tall.
