This is Rano Raraku, or the Nursery (or Quarry) where the moai were carved.  Mostly they were carved on the outside of the right side of the crater, and the inside of the same side.  From this viewpoint, it seemed to be limited (at least to me) to the 12:00-3:00 position, or about 25% of the crater.  This shot was taken in the middle of the island on the only paved road, which extends to Playa Anakena.
