Cerro Santa Lucia, Santiago
Coming back down from the top, the mezzanine is just below you here. The castle-like brick portal is the front
entrance to the mezzanine from Avenida Bernardo O'Higgins, the main boulevard
in Santiago. Sr. O'Higgins was the first leader of the Chilean Republic,
upon independence from Spain. He was an illegitimate son of an Irishman,
hence the name (which really seems out of place in a Latin country).
