Sequoia National Park, California
California is one of the best states in this country. If you are not from the US and want to visit just one area- visit California. It has more national parks, cool cities, deserts, mountains, fertile valleys, and culture than anywhere else in the US. Sequoia is situated a few hours north of Los Angeles, and is coupled with Kings Canyon National Park. Sequoia trees are the most massive trees on the planet (however, they are not the largest living organism- that belongs to a large, underground mushroom-like fungus in Michigan).
