Independence
The town of Independence is a long-abandoned ghost town that basically consists of a few log cabins. This particular remain had no roof left on it, though other buildings were somewhat more intact. When traveling west towards Aspen from US 24, you will come upon Independence shortly after descending from the somewhat scary, aptly named Independence Pass. Again, scary roads beckon me- they have the best shots.
