Mesa Verde National Park, Southwest Colorado
Mesa Verde is near Durango, Colorado in Southwestern Colorado, near the San Juan mountains in another slide.  This was the home to native Americans through the centuries.  The American southwest is peppered with these type of ruins, especially in the Four Corners region of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado.
