San Juan Mountains, Southwest Colorado
This picture was taken in the morning on the Million Dollar Highway (US 550) between Durango and Silverton in Southwest Colorado. This is one of the most beautiful areas of the state. The San Juans afford some of the most spectacular scenery in Colorado and some of the most rugged terrain. The vignette in the corners is a result of a wide aperture, a polarizer, and a wide angle lens.
