My God!
First of all, you are so far up that you are sometimes in the clouds.  It was a partly cloudy day, and the clouds occasionally drifted around the tops of the buildings.  This adds to the effect of the already rapidly downward-diminishing buildings.  You feel like you are really up there, and then- are those clouds?!  And then there are those closely spaced vertical lines, enhancing the perspective.  I am in the South Tower looking northward.
Ah, the View
A little jaunt around the viewing floor and the clouds moved on, and this spectacular view to the north appeared.  Both buildings were the same height, but only the North Tower had the antenna on it, thus boosting it's stature by some measures.
And a Little More Detail
And with a different lens, you can see more detail in the buildings.  That's the Empire State Building in the distant center.  It is now again the tallest building in New York City.  As you can see by looking at the North Tower, we are on the top useable floor of the building.  The remaining floor was used for facilities, as is usually the case of the top floor of most tall buildings.  The elevators have to terminate somewhere.
