Waco, Texas
Downtown Waco was much more pleasant that I had expected.  The city has had it's share of hard luck, most recently it's image being tarnished by the Branch Davidian debacle in 1993.  However, I found it to be clean, if vacant on a Sunday evening.  This view is from a parking garage on the south side of downtown, and shows the McLennan County courthouse on the left and the Alico building on the right.
