Small South Pacific Island, Fiji
Fiji's waters are littered with tiny islands with only
a few huts. This little island, maybe only one hectare in size (2.5
acres), has just one hut on it. I was taking a boat out to another
island. The mountains in the background are on one of the two bigger
islands that make up Fiji- Viti Levu. It is approximately the size
of Hawaii's big island.
When viewing this and other pictures with seawater in them, don't focus
too much on the water- it did not stand still between shots, and my method
of taking these uses only one camera. Focus on the island and the
clouds and mountains in the distance for the best effect, and let the differences
with the water between your left and right eyes lend a sense of motion
to the scene instead.
