Bora Bora Coastal Drive
The peak in the center of the island is strange, and takes on many different forms, depending on the direction you are viewing it from.  This coastal drive series (as well as the boat sequence in the other Bora Bora gallery) will give you a pretty good indication of it's general shape.  Basically, this is the eastern side of a large volcanic crater, with the inside going to the left.  The western side of the crater is out in the lagoon off the west side of the island- part of the floor of the crater is actually submerged.  More on that later.
