Less
than an hour south of Rotorua we came to the Waimangu Volcanic Valley. It
is also connected thermally to the same area as Mt. Tarawera. This was a
great little hike- you can hike along a steaming lake, with bubbling streams
(not babbling, but bubbling from heat) and acid lakes. Since steam doesn't
photograph well in 3D, I've included a simple 2D version of the steaming lake,
