To the right is a geyser in an area a bit too active for anyone to live.

Of course all of this implies that the area sits on a very active hot spot in Earth's crust, and could at some point in the future erupt.  In fact, as recently as the late 1800's a nearby mountain exploded and devastated the area, and as recently as 1997 a volcano within a few hundred kilometers erupted.
