Bridge of Remembrance, Christchurch, New Zealand
The Bridge of Remembrance is a tribute to Canterbury's contributions to World War I. It was completed in 1924, the design winning out over 23 other entries.
To the right is a time-lapse video of the memorial. I've been playing around more with time-lapse and also experimenting with making it available on this site. It should play in place on this page in Windows Media Player, though it is a standard MPEG file. It is sped up by a factor of 10x, but the audio remains at 1x.
