Downtown Christchurch, New Zealand

This was a few blocks from the Crowne Plaza, where we stayed the first few nights in Christchurch. We stayed with local friends the remainder of the time on the South Island, but my fiancé had developed a cold, and my friend's wife was pregnant, so we had to maintain our distance the first few days until Gail recovered. There are many pleasant areas of Christchurch to walk through- this is just west of the city center.
