Lautoka, Fiji
The
transfer boats leave from Nadi, but return you to Lautoka, about 20km or so
north of Nadi. It's a good place to grab some last minute souvenirs with a
more local flavor- in Nadi, this shirts were all emblazoned T-shirts, while
here, I was able to buy local garb with a more tropical feel. I love the
traditional Fiji designs that are in a cream, brown, and black, as seen to the
right.
Also, I got engaged on Beachcombers, so this was the beginning of a new phase of
my life.
