Yanuya Island, Fiji
I believe this was a small church in the village. The
locals were selling their wares to the boatload of tourists, and we shared in a
kava ritual with the village elders, pretty much a dog-and-pony show for the
tourists, but nice nonetheless. It was nice this trip to visit a village
and just walk around and see how the local folks live- especially away from Nadi,
which is a bit crowded.
