Flinders Ranges, South Australia
This more directly shows Wilpena Pound in Flinders Ranges National Park.  Wilpena Pound is sort of a inverse crater- the cliffs are on the outside and rise up about 2000 feet.  Then, they slope gently back down to nearly the same level as the ground visible in the foreground, only to rise back up at the edges.
