Lake Pukaki, New Zealand
Here's the broader view of Lake Pukaki- looking northwards towards, I believe, Mt. Cook (named after Cook, the explorer).  We had been under cloudy skies, but as we moved westward, the clouds showed signs of breaking up somewhat, evidenced here by the line of dark clouds on the east side of the photo.  I liked the effect of the island at the far end having a spot of sunlight on it- see the inset at right for details (and the tall mountain in the center of the inset is what I believe is Mt. Cook).
