Harbour Bridge, Sydney, Australia
This view of the Harbour Bridge was taken from the top of the southeast Pylon.  You can climb up in it for a fraction of the price of climbing the bridge, and you get to about two thirds the height, and you can take your own camera (something the bridge climbers can't do).  You can see a fresh crop of bridge climbers in this shot going up.  I think it would be neat to be at the apex of the bridge, but they make such a big deal out of the climb, making you wear climbing gear and forbidding cameras.  I took a helicopter ride around Sydney with the money I saved (see the Aerial Sydney gallery for a few shots from that ride).
