Moorea from the Sofitel, Tahiti
On the beach, you get a bit better view of Moorea. Moorea is the most
visited island of French Polynesia, also called the Society Islands.
Tahiti proper does not have well-formed beaches, though it is beautiful
nonetheless. Most people come for the beaches, snorkeling, and diving, and
hence head straight to Moorea, a bit cheaper than the other islands of the
group.
