Cruise to Vancouver Island, British Columbia
To get to Vancouver Island from Vancouver (the city), you have to take a ferry for a 90-minute journey. It's a scenic ride, so don't spend it below deck if the weather is permitting. The crossing from Vancouver through the Strait of Georgia gets interesting pretty quickly as the terrain in the area is not at all flat, save for the city of Vancouver itself.
