Calgary, Alberta
This is the view from the Calgary Tower, a restaurant and viewing platform typical of many cities in the world.  The city of Calgary differs from Edmonton in many ways.  Edmonton is the capital and is a bit more low key than Calgary, a bustling oil town and financial center.  Calgary in many ways reminds me of Dallas (my  home) or Houston, with it's western culture and oil connections.  However, Calgary sits just one hour's drive from Banff National Park, one of the most beautiful national parks in the world.  The tall building in the center is the Petro Canada Building.
