Montréal, Québec
Montréal is an awesome city.  French-speaking, with a medieval section, it feels very much European.  It has excellent, architecturally interesting buildings- both old and new, an excellent subway system, great food, and a big hill in the middle of the city.  I highly recommend visiting it.
