St. Johns, Newfoundland
Just a few miles from Cape Spear sits St. Johns, the capitol of Newfoundland. I'm up on Signal Hill, to the east of town. In addition to serving British signaling needs in the Seven Years' War, it also is the spot where Guglielmo Marconi received the first trans-Atlantic wireless message.
