Capilano Suspension Bridge, North Vancouver, British Columbia
The Capilano Suspension Bridge, in North Vancouver, serves no purpose other than for tourists to get a thrill and see a beautiful gorge.  Which is reason enough to have it.  I believe its the highest suspension foot bridge in the world.  On the other side is a deep forest that you can hike through, and you can hike down to the river far below.
