Kootenay National Park, British Columbia
Kootenay National Park (pronounced koot-nee) is part of the park quadrangle that is made up of Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho- two each on each side of the Alberta/BC border.  The water in the river is a silky blue in color, made up from glacial melt that is laden with silt.
