Lucerne, Switzerland

The city of Lucerne is another one of those "must-see" cities. It contains many historic sites, to magnificent old covered bridges (one which burned down and was restored in the mid-1990's). This tower is part of the Museggmauer, a wall built 600 years ago that encircled what then consisted of the whole town.
