Monte Carlo, Monaco
Monaco is one of those funny places that is sort of independent on one hand, and totally dependent on France on the other
(see San Marino)
. It is just about all city and climbs of the cliffs from this beach to the border of France. They are now reclaiming land from the sea to expand. This is the home of the Grand Prix, and has casinos, banks, and any number of other ways to take your money- it is expensive. Princess Grace was killed on the cliff roads leading into the city.
