Obelisk and the Arches
This shows some details of the obelisk from
Luxor. I am using Velvia 50 speed film, which records images in good
detail- even for hand held shots. If you can read hieroglyphics,
please let me know. Otherwise, you might pay attention to the Arc
de Triomphe, at the lower left, and the squared off arch visible through
it's opening. The squared off arch is a long ways past the other
arch, in the western "downtown" of Paris.
