Frederikskirken, or Marmorkirken
Known by both names, the church was designed by Frederik V, and was part of the Amalienborg Palace to the east.  It was started in 1749, but not consecrated until 1894.  It is made of Norwegian marble (Marmorkirken means Marble Church), which was expensive and contributed to the long construction schedule.  Final financing occurred late in the 19th century.
