Vor Frelsers Kirke
Vor Frelsers Kirke is on Christianshavn, and was built in the 17th century.  Moderately visible here is the spiral line up the steeple.  Those are stairs- 400 of them that ascend until they taper to nothing.  They were added in 1752.  Unfortunately, I have visited this church twice only to have it closed both time (a common theme in Denmark- open those buildings!).  To be fair, it was to open later in the day, but they reduced the hours from the listing in the Lonely Planet Guide and changed the time back by two hours- too late for me to make my flight out.  This shot was from my hotel at the mouth of the Nyhavn Kanal.
