Kronborg Slot
The setting for Hamlet, Kronborg Slot is about a thirty minute drive north of Copenhagen, in the town of Helsingør. If you take the ferry from Sweden's Helsingborg, you get a great view of the castle from the water as you approach. It is surrounded by a high wall and a moat.
