Uspensky Cathedral, Helsinki  
Backing up on the shot gives you more of a feel for the perch that this church sits on.  It was built on a piece of rock that helps elevate the profile of the church over the city, and it competes with the Helsinki Cathedral for attention.  It also sits on the waterfront, on a small isthmus of land.
