Nördlingen, Germany
Nördlingen is an interesting town lying not too far northwest of Munich.  The old town is nearly a perfect circle, with a church (St. George's) in the center with a tall bell tower (from where this picture was taken).  This city is in the center of a meteor crater, the rim of which is visible in the distance at the top of the picture.  The town was built in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the wall surrounding the old city is very well kept.  The crater itself is 20-25km in diameter.
