Barbican, Warsaw, Poland
The Barbican was built to protect one of the gates in the double ringed wall protecting Old Town in 1548.  The Barbican had ceased to exist long before World War II, but while they were in the mood to restore Old Town, the Poles restored this as well, to good effect.  You are looking at the backside from a walkway along part of the restored wall.
