Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, Poland Taken with Nokia Imaging Phone
The Palace of Culture and Science is prominently visible from all over Warsaw.  Some locals I talked to did not particularly like it, perhaps because it was a give for the people of Warsaw from the Soviet Union in the early 1950's and was designed by a Russian architect, Lev Rudniev.  Given the time period and the distaste for the Soviet oversight of Poland during the Cold War, I can understand.  But all the same, it is a beautiful building, and Poland is free, joining NATO and hopefully joining the EU soon (with provisions keeping the country's businesses from getting instantly gobbled up by huge non-Polish conglomerates).  Incidentally, this photo was also taken on my Nokia 7650 imaging phone.  The flags moved between shots, so focus on the building for the best 3D.
