Genoa, Italy
Moving to the west towards France is the city of Genoa,
or Genova in Italian. My personal feelings are that this city is
underrated- it tends to be ignored by vacationers. I found the architecture
to be rather distinct in this also industrialized city. The black
and white marble used in the buildings are quite startling to look at.
This city is also the birthplace of Columbus, visible just to the left
behind this cloister. It is also a sister city to Columbus, Ohio,
which is where I am from.
