Vila Velha, Brazil
Vila Velha is a state park in the state of Paraná.  Similar to the Badlands in the US, it is an example of erosion gone rampant.  However, these are rock and not dirt.  There are forests of these pillars in a 1-mile stretch, and they are very accessible.  Being off-season (July 2000, the winter there), I had the place to myself.  Even better.
