This was my best shot on the island, and it is on my wall at home.  The fifteen moai in the background were restored in the mid-1990's.  They are located just about 1-2 kilometers from Rano Raraku, the quarry that was the birthplace of all things Moai.  The Pacific Ocean is just off the right side of the photo.  Like all other moai except for Ahu Akivi, these moai all face inland.
