Blowhole, Easter Island
I was lucky to spot this as I drove along the coast.  I've never seen a blowhole like this.  I know why it's called a blowhole, because I sure did blow a whole roll of film on it to get the shot.  Several rolls in fact, including the other formats I shoot- slide and prints, plus video of the action.  There are actually two holes here.  It seemed that a medium amount of water was best- too much force overpowered the hole from the top and muted it.  Again, it's the result of the lava formations- something that happened long before the island was inhabited.
