Near Ovalle, Chile
The town of Ovalle was quite a nice town- it has a great Plaza de Armas where vendors set up and sell items like vases and clothing that are locally made. This was taken on a road going east out of Ovalle, which I thought was going north. Needless to say about 30 minutes into my ride I realized my mistake and had to reverse course. As it turned out, these cactus- the first of which I had seen here- were everywhere.
