This skull shows signs of deformity and is from mainland Chile. Boards were clamped to a young person's head to elongate the skull while it was still maleable. Kind of sick, if you ask me, but I'm sure it had a ceremonial purpose. See the drawing above the skull for a sketch of what it looked like (somewhat like ET's are portrayed in some alien flicks).
