Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
The hotel was decorated in a Spanish style, and had a lot of flourishes inside. The hotel is somewhat criticized for it's bombast, but I viewed it more as a visually interesting place to stay, rather than trying to be something it isn't. Certainly the exterior design matched my expectations for what a luxury resort would look like in the tropics.
