Tabacon Lodge, Costa Rica
Here's one of my best shots of Arenal Volcano.  It was a couple of minute exposure on Fuji Velvia (ASA 50 speed) taken in deep dusk.  The lava was not streaming liquid, like it may appear.  It was instead hot glowing boulders (which you could hear crashing down) that tumbled down the mountain, breaking up and streaking themselves onto the film.  This was also the only time we were able to see the whole mountain.  Unfortunately, since it was so dark, you could only barely make it out with your eyes.  It took a time exposure to record the detail.
