This is taken from either Bridge 2 or 3. You actually see quite a bit of this from them- the bromeliads and other epiphytes growing on the tree limbs. Its important to note that these are not parasitic- i.e., they will not kill the tree. They live symbiotically in a many-layered ecosystem. The bromeliads collect water, which attracts insects that attract frogs and birds, the latter of which eat fruits and berries that propagate the trees.
