Anthropological Museum, Mexico City
The Anthropological Museum is one of the best
museums in the world- it ranks in the top ten. This structure, supported
by the lone pillar in the center, hovers over the courtyard. It survived
the earthquake in 1985, so it is stronger than it looks. It is supported
by a suspension structure that come from the pillar, which extends above it a
ways.
